About Bob
I have a BSc in Civil engineering, MSc in Structures and PhD in computational mechanics from Imperial College London. I have been teaching and tutoring GCSE and A level Mathematics since 2008. I am passionate about education and have excellent subject matter knowledge.

I teach online. I first establish my students requirements an attempt to assess his/her subject knowledge. I then proceed to build on what the student already knows to move forward and give them a thorough understanding of the subject. With the aid of numerous examples and practice papers I move on to prepare the student for their final exams.

He is very patient and thorough so ensures the full understanding of a subject before moving onto the next stage. He is also incredibly knowledgeable and seems to know everything there is to know about maths!
Bob is a great tutor who helped me immensely throughout GCSE and AS Level. Before I went to lessons with Bob I was really struggling with GCSE maths and he helped me to improve from a grade 5 to an 8. Furthermore, without help from Bob I would have never pursued maths after GCSE or got my AS Level which has been very helpful in my first year of Uni. Bob explained concepts in a way that was easily understandable and always made sure I was confident with something before moving on. He is professional and understanding at all times.
