About Raquel

I am a first-generation Mexican-American who fell in love with Biology while taking AP Biology in high school. I earned a PhD in Molecular Biology because I wanted to spend my life educating students about the wonders under the microscope and the human body that make life what it is.

As a Professor, I have taught General Human Anatomy, Human Physiology, Cell and Molecular Biology and General Biology.

About the lesson

My goal is to help you see Biology all around you (because it is!). Our sessions will be engaging, use humor, drawings, concept maps, and memes to help the concepts stick - and not just for your exams.
I have 10+ years of experience teaching college and high school students in Biology.

Any question I was stuck on, she was able to answer. She’s essential. I would have been stuck with no guidance if I hadn't inquired about tutoring.
