About Luke
I’ve been teaching math in one form or another for most of my life - starting informally with friends and classmates, then moving into formal grinds and secondary school teaching. I hold a Master’s in Mathematics and a PhD in Physics, and I’ve taught across university departments including Statistics, Computer Science, and Engineering. My experience spans the Math Support Center, one-to-one tuition, and online group classes. Beyond teaching, I’ve worked as a software developer and startup founder, combining math, programming, and data analysis to solve real-world problems, from AI and 3D modeling to business automation. That experience keeps my lessons practical, relevant, and grounded in problem-solving. For the past seven years, I’ve focused exclusively on online teaching, delivering Math, Physics, Applied Math, and Programming classes that help students think clearly, approach exams strategically, and build confidence through understanding. I focus on genuine understanding through real exam questions - every topic is taught in context, not isolation.
