About Sanchari
I'm Sanchari, a computational biophysicist who recently completed my PhD from NIT Rourkela, where I studied protein behavior using molecular simulations. I have qualified both GATE Physics 2019 and 2020. Alongside my research, I've spent years teaching and mentoring — as a teaching assistant for undergraduate physics labs with over 70 students, and as a mentor guiding postgraduate students through Python and scientific computing.
Teaching has always been something I genuinely enjoy, not just something I do alongside research. I like breaking down complex ideas into simple, intuitive steps, and I find real satisfaction in that moment when a concept finally clicks for a student. Whether it's a school student struggling with a physics formula or a postgraduate student curious about how simulations work, I try to meet each student where they are and build their confidence step by step.
I'm patient, approachable, and genuinely invested in my students' progress, not just for a single class, but for their long-term understanding.

I bring a concept-first approach to teaching, shaped by my PhD in Physics and hands-on teaching assistantship experience with first-year B.Tech and final year M.Sc. Physics students.
For school students: I help build strong conceptual foundations in physics - thermodynamics, electromagnetism, and modern physics - using simple analogies and step-by-step problem-solving, so ideas stick rather than just formulas.
For undergrad/postgrad beginners: I offer a gentle introduction to computational biophysics — the conceptual foundations of molecular dynamics simulations and associated tools and hands-on practice analyzing simulation data using Python. No prior coding or simulation experience needed; we build up from the fundamentals together.
Each class typically includes a quick recap, guided problem-solving or hands-on examples, and time for your questions.
