About Kasra
I am a professional engineer, PhD in engineering science with academic experience in various universities in Canada, Europe and Asia. I have degrees in both Mechanical and Chemical engineering. I have experience in teaching mechanics to undergraduate students. I am also comfortable teaching maths.

My teaching technique is to avoid a monologue and to be interactive meaning I consider the listener's perspective and I am well aware of our limited capacity to concentrate when listening for long periods of time. So engaging students in the classroom is important for me. If due to size of the class or time limitations, an interactive teaching is not possible, I give extra attention to vary the tone, the medium and the use of visuals to make it easier for the students to follow the story. I do believe in learning by doing, practicing, solving as apposed to passively listening or mere reading.
