About Waqaralikhan

I am Waqaralikhan, a PhD-qualified Computer Science and Information Technology lecturer with more than 16 years of teaching experience in higher education. I have taught at university level across Australia and overseas, supporting students from beginner to postgraduate level in programming, databases, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, cloud computing, web development, IoT, and computer networks.

My teaching style is clear, structured, and patient. I focus on helping students understand the logic behind each topic rather than simply memorizing answers. I explain concepts step by step, use practical examples, and provide guidance that helps students build confidence in their own problem-solving ability.

I take every lesson seriously and prepare according to the student’s needs, subject requirements, and learning goals. Whether a student needs help understanding lecture content, improving programming skills, preparing for assessments, debugging code, or working on a university project, I aim to provide professional and supportive tutoring.

My academic background, PhD research experience, and long-term teaching career allow me to support students with both technical knowledge and academic expectations. My goal is to create a respectful, encouraging, and focused learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and improving their skills.

About the lesson

Hi, I am Waqaralikhan, a PhD-qualified Computer Science and Information Technology lecturer with more than 16 years of teaching experience in higher education. I teach students by first understanding their current level, learning goals, and the specific areas where they need support.

My tutoring approach is practical, clear, and student-centered. I explain difficult concepts step by step, use real-world examples, and support students through hands-on practice, coding exercises, problem-solving tasks, and assignment guidance. I focus not only on helping students complete their work, but also on helping them understand the concepts properly so they can apply them independently.

A typical lesson is 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the student’s needs and the topic. For programming and technical subjects, I usually combine explanation, live demonstration, practice questions, debugging support, and feedback. I can also help students prepare for assessments, understand lecture material, improve their coding logic, and structure university-level assignments.

I teach Computer Science and IT subjects including Python, Java, C++, databases, web development, artificial intelligence, machine learning, cloud computing, cybersecurity, IoT, computer networks, software development, and final-year or postgraduate project support.

My lessons are suitable for university students, TAFE students, college students, and adult learners who want support in IT and Computer Science. I can help beginners who are new to programming as well as advanced students who need support with complex technical subjects, research projects, or academic assessments.
