About Umber
Hi! I’m Umber, and I love helping students understand maths and science in a clear and practical way. With a background in Electrical Engineering, I have a strong passion for teaching STEM subjects and can explain concepts in an easy-to-follow way.
I teach because I enjoy seeing students gain confidence, improve their skills, and achieve their goals. Teaching also gives me the opportunity to learn and keep my knowledge up to date. Learning with me is fun, interactive, and tailored to each student’s needs.

My lessons are structured, supportive, and tailored to each student’s level and goals. I teach GCSE and Bachelor’s level Maths and Science with a strong focus on practical application and real-life examples to develop deep understanding. I explain concepts step by step, show how and why formulae work, and practise problems together before independent work. Students are encouraged to ask questions and think logically. My calm, patient approach helps build confidence, strengthen problem-solving skills, and support steady academic progress.
