With a higher education teaching qualification, a PhD in Educational Sociology, a Master's in Curriculum, Pedagogy, and Assessment, and a Bachelor's degree in English Literature and History of Ideas, I offer a wealth of expertise. While my primary research interests encompass participatory ethnographic methodologies and policy analysis, I excel in enhancing academic writing and qualitative or mixed method research projects, fostering transferable skills such as critical thinking and effective communication. Whether you're navigating complex theories or honing essential study skills, I'm here to support you every step of the way. From essays to dissertations, research proposals to presentations, I offer a compassionate, interactive approach, tailored to individual strengths and needs. A session typically lasts an hour, but there is flexibility for shorter or longer sessions or a series of sessions as required. The first 30 min session is free. My Dissertation services include: -Topic selection and refinement of research aims/questions -Research proposal development -Literature reviews and critical analysis -Methodological guidance -Data collection and analysis (qualitative and quantitative) -Editing and refining e.g. crafting an effective introduction, conclusion, or abstract; tightening up arguments -Proofreading and formatting -Plagiarism checks Additional Services: I can also offer assistance with: -CVs and cover letter writing -Personal statements for university applications and jobs
