About Alex
I pursued my PhD and began a research career because working as a registered nurse (RN) exposed me to lots of questions in health care. A strong statistical skill set is essential to many career areas like economics, finance, and engineering. Statistics often does not stay an intimidating topic once students work with a tutor on breaking down abstract concepts to approachable knowledge.

I work 1-on-1 with students on exam practice, making statistical theory more approachable, and practice datasets. I use a variety of these approaches to help achieve goals. I also have strong expertise developing analytic writing skills. My statistical software experience is Stata, SAS, and Microsoft Excel.
