About Ditte
I'm a PhD candidate in Social Psychology. While I'm doing well now, I wasn't always the most motivated student but learned to overcome my blocks and succeed. I am also a mother of a private educated high schooler, who has benefited from our engagement in extra curricular work and now, single handedly topping her class. I'm confident and patient but also disciplined in my teaching style. I want to help achieving goals and confidence but not at the price of wasting my and my student's time and their parents' money. Commitment at both end is essential.

The lessons can either help with homework and focus closely to material covered during school hours or address a more specific interest outside of the curriculum.
After an assessment session, I'm happy to provide the teaching material or work with the school's material. I aim to help kids find their own potential and gain confidence in their problem solving and critical thinking skills while addressing some key issues.
During my years of teaching I found that often the main issue is not the lack of ability but the lack of self-confidence and dealing with inferiority that stems from critical attitudes of educators or family members.
