About Prerna

I am a PhD Candidate, Women and Gender Studies at Ambedkar University, Delhi. I completed graduation in History from Jesus and Mary College, Delhi University. Post that, I pursued a Master’s in Gender Studies from Ambedkar University, Delhi. I am basing my research on Comprehensive Sexuality Education for young people in India. My research interests include gender, sexuality, childhood and adolescent studies, education, work and leisure.

About the lesson

If 'feminism' is a word that is interesting for you, then you should choose me and if it scares you, then you should definitely choose me! The classes will not just be limited to conversations around gender but would involve lots of discussions on history, political science and sociology from within, around and outside the curriculum. School and college-going students must consider joining!
