Believe in hands-on, interactive learning. For example, will share and walk through example case studies that break down the disease to the biology. These will be shared prior to the meeting to highlight real-world issues from my own work experience in a basic research lab and my work in a clinically focused biomedical role. My lessons begin by clarifying your goals and reviewing prior knowledge, then progress through engaging discussions, problem-solving exercises, and real-world examples. Primary research literature is also mixed in for flavor of the state-of-the-art. I tailor each session to meet your specific needs—whether you’re in high school or college—so you’ll gain confidence, develop critical thinking skills, and excel in biology. I provide clear feedback, encourage curiosity. If also interested in mentorship, happy to mix in sessions to discuss your passion, planning, graduate school, and assist in strategizing for your career.
