About Jason
I take learning and the student/tutor relationship very seriously. While I have worked with Nobel Prize winners and heralded professors in the past, I try my hardest to never talk down to or lecture students. The learning process should be a collaboration between tutor and student. If an improvement in student understanding and grades isn't apparent after the first 2-3 sessions, then I'm not doing my job and will divert the teaching approach accordingly.

I enjoy and am proficient at teaching all levels of understanding and course development. I prefer to start each lesson with a recap of fundamental topics to build from; focusing on learning rather than just memorizing. I also always try to prepare pertinent information that is relatable to the student so we are not just reading a book but also understanding it.
While chemistry, biology and immunology are my expertise, I have also applied these approaches for other subject matter at the middle school or high school level. Please let me know if you are interested!
