About Janet
Teaching started as a side project after my time at Argonne. I work primarily with ambitious undergrads preparing for the professional world. We focus on project-based learning and version control with Git. Clean code practices are essential for any aspiring engineer.
I have taught 127 students how to structure data effectively. My background in computational chemistry informs how I teach Java and backend basics. I find joy in seeing students finally crack a difficult coding challenge. It is a quiet satisfaction.
