About Shaf
I am an empathetic and considerate tutor that aims to maximise a students potential. Every student is different and therefore my style depends on the student :).
I am currently a PhD student studying Biochemistry/Biophysics and Cancer Biology. In my academic journey so far, I have had lows but also highs, and I hope to share what I've learnt along the way so my students can reach their potential and become confident learners!

Every student is different and therefore my teaching style depends on the student!
I identify topics which require more work to create a priority list which are then tackled through weekly sessions.
My aim is ensure the fundamental basis of the topics are well understood, where I test the students understanding by asking questions throughout. My teaching style is more of a conversation rather than a stereotypical lesson.
I offer one to one sessions. I also offer quick one or two sessions if a student requires a quick boost for a certain topic, before an exam. I also aim to set up small classes at a discounted price, where a few students with similar goals would join the same session to create a focus group, to hopefully create an environment where they can also help each other!
