About Thu
Apart from my teaching experience in Vietnam, I am a graduating teaching assistant at the University of Windsor since 2021. I am also a guest lecturer at the University of Windsor and Brock University. Words cannot say how happy and passionate I am when I meet students with culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds in Canada, talk to them, and be part of their learning journeys. I am confident that I am an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher who always aims at bringing the best learning outcomes to students.

I had worked as an ESL lecturer at universities in Vietnam for ten years before becoming a doctoral student in Canada. Over the last ten years, I excel in:
- Developing a range of practical skills for teaching adult learners at various levels: Secondary, high school, undergraduate students.
- Applying different techniques and strategies for improving their English skills: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking.
- Obtaining hands-on experience in classroom
management, building connections, and supporting students of different backgrounds
- Designing creative and interactive learning activities to motivate and encourage students in participating in with a philosophy of "learning by doing/practicing"
