About Carolina

I am currently pursuing my PhD in English Literature at the University of Edinburgh, where I teach English Literature courses. I obtained a Bachelor's degree (110 e Lode) and a Master's degree (110 e Lode) in Foreign Languages and Literature at the University of Verona, enriched by different experiences of studies and work in English-speaking countries (Erasmus in Scotland, I worked as an interpreter for several IMTS Shows in Chicago). I have taught English in Italian public and private schools of different levels, from primary schools to courses for adults and companies. I have obtained several language certifications, the most recent is IELTS level C2

About the lesson

My lessons are customisable in order to adapt to the needs and requirements of the students. I have experience in teaching primary school classes, private teaching and university. Having worked with several students with the most heterogeneous needs, I consider the flexibility of my approach a fundamental element. In my lessons I offer:
• tuition and help with homework for primary and secondary school pupils
• preparation for university language and literature exams
• conversation in English
• preparation for certificates (IELTS, Cambridge, TOEFL, LCCI, etc.) - all levels (A1-C2)
• help / correction / revision of high school term papers, Bachelor and Master's theses (in foreign language and / or related literature and linguistics)

The approach and methodology are therefore to be agreed with the students in order to offer the help they really need and tailor the lessons to their requirements. Lessons can be held entirely in English, or in Italian, according to the student's request and language level

Tariffs vary according to the lessons and the student's needs. The first introductory lesson is a 30 min session devoted to getting to know you, to define your linguistic level and to outline the best strategy to achieve your goal
