About Elena
I have a degree in Art History from the University of Florence and I finished two Masters in Bologna and Barcelona. I am currently a PhD candidate in Barcelona. I have almost 10 years of experience as a tour guide, and four years as an Italian art teacher in a course for foreigners.

My method is interactive and the classes are tailored to the student's objectives (some examples: - have a basic knowledge of European art, - know the art of the Italian Renaissance, - learn to read paintings from different periods - know the styles: classic, romanesque, gothic, renaissance, baroque, rococo, etc ... - monographic courses on Italian or Spanish museums, such as Galleria degli Uffizi, musei Vaticani, Prado, Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya). My way of studying is active and dynamic, with a multidisciplinary approach: the main goal for the student is to achieve a real knowledge of the subject, and that at the end of the course he/she can orient him/herself in front of any type of examples of the art studied. You are going to enjoy your visits to museums way better! Classes can be in Spanish, Italian or English. At the end of each class I will send you a selection of images to start your own visual archive.
