About Edward

Education: I am currently studying for a PhD in Computer Science at Imperial College London. I have a Masters in Mathematics from Imperial College London, where I finished top of my year. I was most recently awarded a Distinction in a Masters in Computing Science at Imperial College London. I was also a King's Scholar at Eton College, and was awarded 100% on every pure maths module at A-Level. I have also completed Levels I,II and III of the CFA (finance) qualification. Experience: I specialise in training students in methods for understanding complex concepts in Maths, Computer Science and AI (over merely just solving problems). I have previously trained 1st year Imperial College Maths students in their course problem sets. I currently tutor undergraduate Imperial Computer Science students in topics such as C++, Probability and Statistics and Computer Vision, and I am responsible for marking coursework and exam scripts on a regular basis. About you: I am looking to train students who are at the A-Level or GCSE level, but I can offer tutoring at degree level too. In addition, I am also very interested in teaching talented, younger students who have a passion for mathematics and wish to develop their skills beyond the material that they are currently learning in the classroom. As a former King's Scholar at Eton, I know what is required to be competitive at that level. My teaching methods will help you to improve your weaknesses and to develop further your areas of strength, thereby helping you to pass any exams you may have in the future. About the lesson

Tutoring Services: I offer a kind, friendly, and first-rate online tutoring service in Maths, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence (Machine Learning) and Quantum Computing, as well as general tips and tricks in preparing for and undertaking examinations. I understand how invaluable 1-to-1 coaching is as I have greatly benefited from this myself in preparation for my own exams over the years. As an online tutor, I am not restricted by my location and I can teach students at relatively short notice. My sessions are very interactive, where I make sure that you understand the topics that we cover. I offer both the teaching of topics from scratch as well as going through your difficulties with problem sheets. I email through my notes at the end of each session so that you can use them for further study.
