About Kim

Hi there!

My name is Kim (23 years old), I’m a marine biologist passioned by the ocean’s life and it’s mysteries! I am currently working on PhD studying the adaptation capacity of sharks to a changing environment and human disturbances. To do so, I use genetic analysis on a shark population in the Pacific Ocean. I am a native speaker in French and Dutch and use English on a daily basis in my work (team work, conferences and scientific publications).

I had the opportunity to teach a marine biology class to master students. Moreover, I gave English, French and Dutch lessons to undergraduate and high school students.

About the lesson

My teaching method is based on understanding the level of each student, then I adapt the lessons according to need. All the courses taught follow the specific programs of the French Academy or any other institution. The first course will be used to know what the student needs to deepen. The course will follow the homework or possibly the tests given by the teachers as well as the points poorly understood in the previous tests.
