About Cristina

I spend a lot of time walking and trekking in the woods. There's something about being surrounded by trees that feels essential, like pressing a reset button.

I write stories and poems. When I write, it feels like I'm trying to capture a dream before it fades: that sense of things being vivid yet slipping away, hard to put into words but still worth holding on to.

I travel a lot for work and love getting completely absorbed in cultures different from the one I grew up in. There's something about being in a place where everything works differently—the language, the gestures, the rhythm of the days—that makes me feel more present, more attentive. It's as if each trip gives me a new way of seeing the world and, in some way, myself as well.

Macro photography is another way I explore the world. With my Nikon, I look for details that easily go unnoticed: the texture of bark, a drop of water on a leaf, an insect sitting on a mushroom. It's my way of reminding myself that there's always something to discover, even in what seems ordinary.

My name is Cristina, and I am a PhD candidate in Philosophy of Law at Jagiellonian University in Kraków. I offer philosophy, ethics, and English classes tailored to your needs, with an innovative and inclusive approach based on years of study and teaching in international contexts.

My method goes beyond lectures: theory is only the beginning. Classes emphasise practical application, featuring discussions on concrete topics to develop critical thinking and independent reasoning. Sessions are structured around your preferred learning style, with a particular focus on inclusivity. I have completed several courses in teaching people on the autism spectrum and have direct experience with dyslexic students.

I believe that making classes accessible—by adapting methods and materials—is the only way to teach everyone effectively.

The first lesson is always introductory: a meeting to understand your requirements and to design a personalised and effective programme. I have spent seven years studying and working abroad, and I use English daily in both academic and professional settings.

I offer English lessons at all levels: grammar, conversation, and preparation for academic or professional contexts, from primary school to university. I am accustomed to tutoring learners of all ages and backgrounds. I also hold a degree in Legal Sciences from Kobe University, where I conducted comparative research on the Japanese Constitution.

This experience enriched my teaching perspective, particularly in philosophy and law.

If you would like a customised learning journey that takes into account your learning style and experience in both philosophy and English, please contact me for an initial introductory lesson. Together, we will create an effective, inclusive, and stimulating learning programme.

What are your goals for the first lesson? Do you prefer a more formal or informal tone, and which topics interest you most—philosophy of law, ethics, academic English or conversation? Or perhaps all of them?
