About T Dorje
I have over 20 years of teaching experience that ranges from being the Director of a private school, to an Emotional Support instructor working with high functioning special needs students, to tutoring international students in SAT. I have taught at every level from elementary to high school and welcome students of all ages and skill levels.

I am the type of teacher that will get to know ‘how’ my students learn more than what it is that they’re learning in the beginning. Any subject can be taught if the teacher is able to tap into each students innate abilities and discover their genius and how they process information. For example, I am a Kinesthetic Learner (google Gardners Theory of Multiple Intelligences) so it benefits me to be moving while digesting information rather seated prone for long periods of time. Students range from Kinesthetic to Auditory to Visual to Linguistic to Musical learners, to name a few. My first step as a tutor is to unlock this code inside of each student that is different for everyone just like a fingerprint. I call it their ‘learningprint’. My sessions are more because I make it a priority to ensure that my students are successful and often times my sessions go past 1hr. I also provide unlimited quick text guidance to all of my students if they are stuck on a problem and just need some quick direction to get unstuck.
