About Sara
I am a PhD candidate (fully funded) in Philosophy at University College London, focusing on Philosophy of Language and Mind. Prior to my doctorate, I completed an MSt. in Linguistics, Philology and Phonetics at the University of Oxford, and an MPhil in Philosophy at the University of Cambridge. As for my undergraduate studies, I obtained a BA in Philosophy at UCL. I am very enthusiastic and committed to helping students improve. Indeed, my main motivation for tutoring is seeing students progress over time. It's very rewarding when a student reaches a goal they never thought they'd get to, or when I manage to transmit passion for the subject to a student who previously hated it. A mentor is such an important figure for students, and being one is a valuable experience.
