About Choudhary
I hold a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from the University of Nottingham, followed by postdoctoral research at SUNY Albany, the University of Connecticut, and the University of Toronto.
Across my career, I’ve experienced the biological sciences from every angle—student, researcher, diagnostic specialist, applications specialist with world-renowned biotech companies, and university instructor. These diverse roles have given me a deep, practical understanding of biology and a unique ability to turn complex scientific concepts into clear, engaging, and relatable lessons.
I know where students typically struggle, and I’ve developed teaching strategies that inspire curiosity, build confidence, and transform confusion into real understanding.
Teaching is more than a profession for me—it’s something I genuinely love. I strive to help students connect biology to the real world, experience those “aha!” moments, and develop the kind of strong foundation that makes advanced learning enjoyable rather than overwhelming.

My teaching philosophy and approach are student-centred and to involve them in active learning by motivating them through discussion groups, individual and group assignments, presentations and competitions. I always describe the scientific processes by giving examples from our daily life and this helps a lot in understanding the otherwise very difficult processes.
