About Lawrence
I have taught elementary statistics for over ten years and taught advanced statistical methods for over ten years as a faculty at a university. I look forward to helping students in college or graduate school with their projects which typically contain/require some statistics. A special course or regular course follows a text book and typically may require a second book. Lectures follow the book, student reads the book, student asks questions and the prof also questions of the student, and selected problems are assigned to turn into prof. Tests will have a component of applied work and a part having an oral component if the student agrees with this.
I have been teaching for over 20 years. I emphasize what the student should know in an applied environment and discuss the need for knowledge of the mathematical part. I do allow retesting, plenty of questions and sample problems for the test.

I have taught advanced and mathematical statistics and applied sttistics for undergraduate and graduate students, and advanced applied statistics for statistics majors. I can advise students in other areas (psy, edu, sociology, business, etc) that have a statistical project.
