About Nancy
I have tutored many students from different backgrounds including homeschooled and public and private school students. I have a PhD in neuroscience and a teaching certificate from the University of Utah. Some of the students I have tutored in the past have also struggled with issues like ADHD. I will try my best to meet you where you are on a subject and will be open to any questions. Many of my students saw improvements in their grades at school and gained confidence in the process. I hope to get students to the point where they can master a subject and be able to teach me.

Do you struggle with your grades or sometimes struggle with completing homework assignments? I will tailor lessons based on the way you learn best. We start with what you know and work to fill in any gaps in understanding. Once you master the basic concepts we will work with practice questions or applications of that knowledge. You will gain the confidence of mastering a subject and enjoy the process.
