About Ibrahim
I am a graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy and am attending Tulane University's honors college this fall. I have spent two summers tutoring middle school students in math (one student per summer) and served as a tutor within my dorm for four years (5-10 students per week). I have completed Honors Algebra I, Honors Geometry, Honors Algebra II/Trigonometry, Honors Pre-Calculus, Honors Calculus A/B, AP Calculus B/C, Statistics, Discrete Math, Financial Math, and Surface Geometry/Trajectory. I am comfortable teaching at any level up to Calculus A/B.

I have primarily worked with other high school students and often find that when approaching a specific problem, it is often helpful to walk through an example that requires the use of similar concepts. This gives the student confidence when tackling problems on their own. I have also found that when tutoring students in my age group (give or take a few years), it is important to treat them as a peer rather than a student, which fosters a more comfortable and welcoming learning environment.
