About Evie
With a high academic record and a love for maths fuelled by certain teachers over the years, I enjoy tutoring to pass on my passion for the subject and to inspire confidence in those who doubt themselves. I have just began my 4 year joint honours degree in Philosophy and Mathematics at the University of Edinburgh, and I am looking to tutor in order to stimulate myself outside of school whilst also making a positive contribution to others academically.

Lessons aimed at GCSE or A Level maths students, I have tutoring experience within school teaching kids in younger year groups and achieved A* in both maths and further maths A level.. I like to use past papers and practise questions but I see what works best for each individual and fit the lesson to their needs. Lessons last an hour and I am happy to tutor weekly or in less consistent blocks, for example in preparation for an exam. Lessons can take place either online or in person (in Edinburgh).
