I have a an undergraduate degree in politics and philosophy, but I have experience relevant to all arts and social science subjects. I am currently doing a masters in public policy and intend to complete a PhD in political theory and public policy. I can help primarily with: essay writing; argument/reasoning; research methods; philosophical concepts; political/sociological issues.

I like to focus my teaching around student essays, as I strongly maintain that understanding how arguments are made and how essays are structured is key to doing well in the arts and social sciences. Depending on the student's level, I will either: dedicate lessons to writing essays with the student; critique extended coursework essays; set short essays or problems for the student to complete (on a relevant topic); answer any pressing questions about knowledge and understanding of their course material.
