About Cecilia

I am a Criminology and philosophy BA graduate who has a great passion for philosophy. I would like to help people appreciate philosophy more, or even just help them understand their readings and/or give advice for philosophical writing. I have experience teaching undergraduate students and college students for both philosophy and sociology.

About the lesson

My method is mostly based on the level and the preferences of my students. It is possible to structure the philosophy lessons in different ways depending on the personal and academic goals of the student in question. If we do it more your way, you'll probably learn faster!

Cecilia tutored me when I was in need of help during highschool, we were classmates. One thing that made her different from other tutors I had tried was that she actually listened to my questions when I was in trouble and instead of simply giving me a few exercises to do, she always tried to lead me to the solution and helped me with my reasoning. She's very passionate, prepared and has a definite study structure: I struggle with ADHD, but her lessons kept me engaged all the time.
I highly recommend her, especially if you struggle with focusing.
