About Bilal

I pursued tutoring to address the gaps I’ve observed in the education system. Many students share frustrations about teachers rushing through complex topics without revisiting them, leaving them feeling unsupported. This inspired me to create a tutoring company that truly puts students first. Our approach focuses on delivering personalised, well-organised sessions designed with the specific needs of each student in mind. Unlike many other tutoring services, all our tutors are carefully selected experts in their fields and hold enhanced DBS checks for complete peace of mind. We don’t believe in "one-size-fits-all" tutoring, so our tutors only teach subjects they specialise in, ensuring top-quality instruction every time. Whether it’s improving confidence in Maths and English, mastering Sociology, or crafting standout personal statements, I’m committed to helping students achieve their goals. I take pride in offering a supportive, results-driven learning experience that empowers students to succeed both academically and personally. About the lesson

Hi! My name’s Bilal, and I’m the founder of Bishops Online Tutoring (BOT). I specialise in Maths, English, and Sociology, but at BOT, we have a team of expert tutors covering a wide range of subjects. My teaching style is tailored to each student’s individual learning needs because I believe everyone learns differently. To get started, I offer a free consultation to understand a student’s current progress and academic goals. From there, I create a personalised tutoring plan designed to help them achieve their desired grades. At BOT, we provide both one-to-one and group tutoring sessions. Every tutor in our team is a subject specialist—qualified to teach their area of expertise. For example, I teach Maths up to GCSE level and English, Sociology and Health & Social Care up to A-Level. After completing my A-Levels, I earned a degree in Philosophy from the University of Nottingham and am currently pursuing an MSc in Artificial Intelligence Strategy. With over eight years of tutoring experience, I’ve worked with both one-to-one and group sessions, including students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). These experiences have helped me develop a range of effective teaching methods that I now apply across BOT.
