About Ella
I am an undergraduate studying Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE) at the University of Oxford. I have extensive tutoring experience, specialising in Oxbridge admissions preparation, including the TSA, personal statements, and interview practice for PPE and related courses. I also support students preparing for the TARA and provide tailored tutoring in GCSE Mathematics and Sciences. My teaching style is highly personalised, focusing on exam technique, problem-solving skills, and building confidence. All of my students have successfully achieved their target grades. Alongside academic tutoring, I offer strategic advice on study skills, revision planning, and effective preparation methods. With first-hand experience of the Oxbridge admissions process, I enjoy helping students maximise their potential and approach applications and exams with confidence and clarity. I have high availability as I am very flexible in term time.

Tutoring GCSE mathematics and sciences on a one-on-one basis to school students. Every student went on to achieve their desired grades. Provided custom lesson plans to improve each student’s individual performance, improved study skills, offered advice on individual strategy for the exam and built confidence in their own ability. Focus on past exam questions, revision skills and exam technique. - Tutoring prospective Oxbridge candidates for the TSA (Thinking Skills Assessment) entrance exam and for interviews for Politics, Philosophy and Economics with Foreshaw Brookes Education and Libra Education. Providing support to prospective candidates for related courses at Russell group universities. - Tutoring prospective computer science candidates for the TARA (Thinking and Reasoning Aptitude) entrance exam for UniAdmissions. My teaching style is highly personalised, focusing on exam technique, problem-solving skills, and building confidence. All of my students have successfully achieved their target grades. Alongside academic tutoring, I offer strategic advice on study skills, revision planning, and effective preparation methods.
