About Hunter
First of all I don’t like long, windy introductions in-person or in books. I just like to get to the material (books) or you (the person that may be reading this) and understanding through my own lens and not a rose tinted one. That being said…
My name is: Hunter, but I go by ’H’ a lot.
Favorite subject(s): The Humanities, specifically philosophy. Plus geography and of course history.
Music: I listen to wide variety of genres from the early years of Bob Dylan, to Pink Floyd, The Mountain Goats, Louis Armstrong, John Coltrane, and Alice Merton.
I may be on the younger side but I have a healthy sized library full of physical books that I often reference, and I usually have one or two at my bedside.
On the flip side I also do freelance IT work and Hi-Fi Setup work. So I know my way around technology very well, sometimes to my own detriment.
Anyhow, that’s me, jovial but serious.

My method is straight forward — you ask, I answer to the absolute best of my ability. I do throughly enjoy sprinkling in fun facts about the material and treat learning as a conversation as much as possible.
“So you want to get better with history, or maybe you want to impress your date by naming all the countries in Asia. Well I’ve got your back. Perhaps you want to better understand current events or our political structures, I can help you there as well. I can also help you to an extent with philosophy, but you must remember I am a student of philosophy as well.”
I can teach high school level students that need quite a bit of help or just some help. Also those who are just interested in my subject areas are welcome too.

Details
I don’t have professional experience tutoring, but I’m willing to both teach and learn at the same time if you’ll give me the opportunity. Also, though I can travel, I cannot drive due to a chronic medical condition—thus my transit fee is higher to pay my brother.
