About Isabel
Hi! I'm Isabel and I study Philosophy at the University of Birmingham, in which I am predicted to a get a 1st. I also have a full DBS check and a wealth of experience working with children. Most recently, i am a Lead Member and Tutor at Action Tutoring, through which I go into Primary schools and coach disprivileged children through their English SATS. However, I also deliver high quality tutorials to teens and adults. More specifically, i share the tools that i have learnt in essay writing that have lead me to writing 1st class Philosophy papers. On top of all of this, I offer tutorials in elementary SL and PL logic. Having scored over 90% in all logic exams and assessments that i have taken thus far, I am able to work teach first year degree level logic as well as helping complete beginners to learn the basics, even just through language.

My main focus in tutoring is to create a sense of confidence and excitement about the subject. To that end, my first aim is to find out what my student is interested in and what they would like to know more about. This hugely informs my lesson plans and makes ensures that my tutoring is bespoke to the student. I genuinely love everything that I tutor and this comes through in my attitude towards our sessions. I can promise you professionalism, engaging material and personalised lessons, all in a relaxed atmosphere - all you have to do is show up!
