About Jenna
I've been a teacher's aid in philosophy in two different semesters. I helped teach the philosophy of sex and love and an introductory philosophy course. During both of these classes, I held office hours where students would come to me with questions about class content, I gave multiple lectures, I lead group discussions, I lead review sessions, and I was responsible for reaching out to students who seemed to be struggling. I was able to save a couple of students from having to retake the class, and I was able to help "B" students into "A" students. Philosophy is my passion, and that is very clear when I teach it.

I've done much research within the field of philosophy and have even presented at a few conferences. As a teacher, I like to show students how the influences of philosophy not only connect certain philosophers but how it pertains to life. Concrete applications of ideas give thoughts of other people much more importance. My ultimate goal, though, is to teach the student core concepts within topics they find particularly interesting.

Jenna has both knowledge and a deep passion for music - the best combination! She is not only a fine flutist, but also a great role model for a younger student.
Jenna knows what she knows and can tell when she is outside of her comfort zone.
She always is responsible in every way, including being there (emotionally and physically) and being on time. She cares and is generally a very happy and geniune person. She would work very well with children.
