About Steve
I have been involved in photographic processes for over 40 years. I started doing film photography and I started with digital imaging after years of doing film photography. I ran a pro Black and White custom lab in Santa Monica specializing in film developing and custom silver printing. In 2024 I came down with bad COVID and I was really sick for 2 years. Because of being very sick I had to close my lab. I also have been doing digital photography and I specialize in digital process and I am a custom digital printer. I specialized in black and white film imaging and I also now specialize in digital scanning and printing for clients.

My lessons depend on how advanced a person is and what their questions are about photography. I help people understand their creative side and how to visualize and understand their creative process. I have led many photography events with the Sierra club Camera committee and I was teaching Black and White imaging at the Tri Community Photo Center until they closed.
