About Maria Jose

Hello, my name is Maria, and I am an experienced Spanish teacher.
I am originally from Gijón, Asturias, Spain, and currently reside in Houston, Texas. Although I was born in Spain, I grew up in a Colombian family, which has enriched my cultural perspective.
I am currently pursuing a degree in photography, and in my free time, I enjoy reading and painting. I am fluent in both English and Spanish, with a distinct Colombian accent.

About the lesson

In our classes, we can focus on two distinct approaches: a more formal dialect or a casual conversational style, similar to engaging with someone at a café.
These structures can be tailored to suit learners at any level, whether beginners, intermediates, or advanced students.
To enhance your learning experience, I will provide a variety of resources, including presentations, articles, and videos, to further enrich the material we cover in class.
