About Helen
Having been a photographic retoucher for most of my career, I've now retrained as a garden designer. I've now added 3D modelling in Sketchup to my software skills, and use photoshop to bring them to life. As a retoucher, I worked with Fashion and Beauty, and advertising images, as well as architectural visualisiations.
I've been teaching photoshop for about 10 years now, both running courses, and on a one to one basis, and have always found it to be a fulfilling experience.
Some of my recent students include a fashion photographer, wishing to learn retouching skills, a print/textile designer and a film production company.

I teach photoshop and SketchUp to all different ages and levels, whether it be for professional tasks or as a hobby. I can teach individuals or small groups, and will tailor the lesson around your requirements, and at the pace you need. Often my lessons are tailored around a specific project that the student has, but I can also create suitable lesson files, if you want to learn a more general area.
For more advanced students, I can teach you industry standard techniques, and methods to speed up your workflow. Some areas you may wish to learn include :-
Editing photography
3D modelling in SketchUp and editing it in Photoshop
Fashion/beauty retouching
Image Compositing
Creating a portfolio.
