About Sharon
I am hardworking and passionate about biology and this will reflect in the lessons I give. I am also very patient so please feel free to ask me to repeat explanations as it is important to me that you understand the work and leave the lesson happy. I am a graduated Physical Anthropologist who obtained both my BSc Medical Sciences and BScHons Physical Anthropology degree with distinction from the University of Pretoria. Furthermore, I have obtained distinctions for all my subjects (including biology) at the matric level. I have also achieved distinctions for all anatomy modules studied at the university level. I have tutored many undergraduate anatomy modules at the University of Pretoria (ANA 121, ANA 122, ANA 215, and ANA 315) and have also tutored for a first-year physics module (PHY131) where I received certificates for online and in-person tutor training.

Lessons can be provided in English or Afrikaans at your home or online at your convenience.
Lessons are aimed at grades 1 - 12, or university undergraduate and postgraduate students that need tutoring in biology, anatomy, genetics, anthropology, osteology, or related topics.
I aim to make biology fun and interactive to learn so students can expect interactive worksheets to do during and/or after lessons in addition to topic revision.
The worksheets will be tailored to topics that the student needs help understanding. Therefore, in order to assist the student optimally, topics for discussion need to be given prior to the lesson. Additional information can be discussed during the lessons, however, may not be included in the worksheets if not mentioned well before the lesson time.
