About Bonnie
I am a Chemistry tutor with 3+ years of experience and an MSc in Theoretical and Computational Chemistry. My teaching connects chemistry with investigation and analysis. I focus on forensic applications.
We cover drug analysis, toxicology, and crime scene techniques. I use simulated files to create investigative learning. Students stay motivated.
I teach principles behind analytical equipment clearly. Ethical responsibility is discussed throughout. Careful interpretation matters.
I mentor learners aiming for forensic and policing professions. They develop observation and analytical thinking. Chemistry gains real meaning. Together we apply science to solve mysteries and contribute to justice.

My teaching approach in Chemistry focuses on strong conceptual understanding and clear thinking. I use active visualization to make abstract ideas easier to imagine and remember. We begin with atomic structure, including protons, neutrons, electrons, and orbitals. Electronic configuration is explained using simple patterns and diagrams so students see the logic behind it.
Students then learn periodic table trends such as atomic size, ionization energy, and electronegativity. I connect these trends to real chemical behavior so the table becomes meaningful. Chemical bonding is taught step by step, covering ionic, covalent, and coordinate bonds with clear examples. Molecular geometry is explained using shapes, models, and VSEPR ideas. We also predict polarity and basic physical properties from structure.
I support learners interested in health sciences and the natural world by strengthening their foundation in core principles. Each lesson includes guided practice and discussion to remove confusion early. My aim is steady progress, accuracy, and confidence. You will master the building blocks of matter with clarity.
