About Tina
I am a physical sciences postgraduate with a passion to teach maths and science. I have experience with tutoring maths, physics, and chemistry at various levels up to A-levels. I also have experience as a school academic support, during which I assisted teachers in lessons, delivered short additional lessons after school, and prepared lesson slides and marked written work.
My goal is to stimulate students to do their best, to inspire passion and interest, and to help students achieve top grades.

I adopt an interactive teaching style that is more engaging and effective than traditional lecture-style lessons. Whenever possible, I teach by continuously asking students questions that stimulate them to think. When going through practice questions, I encourage students to think for themselves, but would give hints to direct students towards the correct answer.
Typically a lesson would last for 1-2 hours, depending on the student's preference.
I have experience with tutoring maths, physics, and chemistry at various levels up to A-levels.
