About Saverio Mirko
I am a physicist of matter and I practice the profession of software developer in Java. I graduated from the University of Calabria with full marks in the three-year course and I continued there also with the specialization. The passion for science and physics has deep roots in my life. As a child, I started asking myself questions about the meaning of what I observed thanks to my uncle's passion for astronomy. After my master's degree I had the opportunity to gain experience abroad at the University of Glasgow in Scotland where I was studying for a PhD. I have always had particular attention and dedication to young people. There is no greater satisfaction than seeing them happy for having understood or discovered something new.

I have solid experience in research and programming. My approach to teaching is methodical and exemplary. I try to explain concepts that may appear difficult through examples and simplifications. Moreover, I always try to stimulate the student's curiosity by making him understand that science is something that really changes the world and what surrounds us. As with all physicists, my model is the approach to Feynman, one of the greatest teachers in history! The keywords for my lessons are: exercise, practice, example. The most important thing is to have the basics clear and above all to be able to put into practice what you have learned. In my lessons I do not take anything for granted. Also with the student, I understand what he needs to re-enroll to pass an exam successfully. With the student then we set goals to complete, without forgetting to have fun. This is very important, because studying doesn't have to be tedious. You have to learn while having fun! Only in this way can you actually posses what you study. My particular interests and the subjects in which I feel most capable are: programming languages, differential and integral calculus, mathematical analysis, mechanics, relativity, quantum mechanics and plasma physics. Each lesson includes a first short part of priority analysis, then a short theoretical explanation of what was not well understood and the development of exercises.
