About Benjamin

I am a 2nd year MBChB medical student at the University of Auckland, having completed First Year Biomedical Science with a 9.0 GPA across all 8 courses. In PHYSICS 160 I scored A+ for both Tests 1 and 2, including 100% for Test 1. Additionally, I gained NZQA Scholarship in Physics in 2024, scoring 24/32.

Having just completed the course less than two semesters ago, I understand that for many students aspiring for the clinicals, Physics may not be everyone's strong suit. At the same time, I recognize that Semester Two can feel quite crammed, needing to balance MMI prep with MEDSCI 142 studies. This is where I believe I can offer guidance and assistance with Physics coursework, whether your aims are to achieve in the A range, or if it is simply to take some weight off of other priorities.

I have tutored both privately and on contract for over four years now, helping students from Year 9 all the way to First Year University.

About the lesson

Sessions will generally centre around past papers or assignment questions, and will be tailored to your learning style. You can think of them as little but dedicated sessions during the week to get on top of Physics study while always having your questions answered :)

Sessions will generally run for 1-1.5 hours but are very flexible. I understand that First Year can be very busy and so I offer full flexibility from week to week.
