About Zachary
I attended the University of Northern Colorado for my bachelor's in Physics and 7-12 Education and also for my masters in science education. I have 7 years of teaching experience. I taught 2 years in Colorado, 5 years in Taiwan, and 1 year in Houston at a Katy ISD school. I have been actively tutoring in my communities and in my schools since 2012. I specialize in Physics and Chemistry but could help tutor any science subject if needed. I believe together we can learn any concept and practice it until it's mastered.

I believe in inquiry approaches to tutoring. In college I was an AVID tutor at the local high schools, and they taught me an important trick, keep asking the right questions and your students will find their own answers and remember them. This is how I teach my classes as a public educator, and this is how I tutor. By asking the right questions and guiding student's thinking, they make the connections, and they find the solution, I'm only there to encourage them to keep trying and reassure them that they are on the right path.
