About Ramiya
I’m a first-year Durham student studying Physics and Philosophy. I have previous experience as a tutor, helping students build confidence and develop a strong work ethic, particularly in Maths from KS3 up to A-level.
I understand that Maths can be challenging to grasp conceptually, but with my ability to break down complex ideas into simple terms, I’m confident I can help you succeed, even if Maths isn’t your strongest subject.

At A-levels, I studied Physics, Maths and Further Maths, for which I respectively achieved A, A* and A* and at GCSEs, I achieved seven 9s and two 8s.
As a tutor, I will be my priority to develop carefully curated study plans based on each student’s strengths and weaknesses, in order to maintain a positive, encouraging environment where students felt comfortable and confident. A typical lesson would be 50 minutes long.
