About Dominique
Undergraduates often struggle to visualize abstract principles until we identify the CORE CONCEPTS together. I completed my MSc Chemistry at MIT 13 years ago and realized then that science is best learned by asking why. My practice centers on electrostatics, optics, and electricity and magnetism, though I often assist with derivations and formulas.
Students frequently reach out when they feel overwhelmed by units and measurements or messy homework help requests. It is a quiet process that relies on patience and clear reasoning.

Starting our first meeting often feels like we are jumping into a conversation already in progress. I will ask you to show me your current roadblock so we can dismantle the logic behind the math.
Because I emphasize understanding over memorization, you should expect to talk through the physics rather than just copy steps. We look at the interplay of energy and matter until the answer becomes obvious. This rigorous path to clarity creates a satisfying sense of achievement. Watching a student grasp a difficult concept during these sessions is genuinely rewarding.
