About Una
My fascination with physics began with a curiosity about the fundamental laws governing motion, energy, and forces in the universe. This led me to pursue a B.Sc in Physics and an M.Sc in Applied Physics, equipping me with both theoretical depth and experimental knowledge. Over 9 years of teaching, I have guided students through complex topics, helping them transform abstract ideas into structured understanding while building confidence and analytical thinking. I focus on patience, clarity, and interactive learning. Many students struggle when physics is taught abstractly or too quickly. I use diagrams, demonstrations, stepwise explanations, and real-world examples to make concepts accessible and engaging. Encouraging inquiry, experimentation, and independent reasoning is central to my approach, fostering deeper understanding and curiosity. Outside teaching, I remain engaged with physics through research reading, experimental exploration, and exploring technological applications. These experiences enrich lessons and provide contemporary relevance. Teaching physics is deeply fulfilling because I witness students develop confidence, problem-solving abilities, and a genuine curiosity about the natural world, equipping them for academic and personal growth.

Physics becomes captivating when learners connect abstract concepts to observable phenomena and real-world applications. My lessons cover classical mechanics, energy principles, thermodynamics, wave behavior, electricity, and magnetism, emphasizing conceptual understanding, analytical reasoning, and systematic problem-solving. I aim to develop both confidence and curiosity, helping students approach challenging problems methodically while nurturing their appreciation for the physical world.
Lesson content is tailored to proficiency. Beginners focus on motion, forces, energy transfer, and basic experimental observations. Intermediate learners study circuits, wave phenomena, thermodynamic systems, and data interpretation. Advanced learners tackle derivations, multi-step problem-solving, and exam-focused analytical challenges. Each lesson integrates visual explanations, stepwise reasoning, interactive exercises, and real-life examples to reinforce understanding and mastery.
Physics lessons also cultivate critical thinking, observational skills, and structured problem-solving. Students learn to evaluate scenarios, interpret experimental data, and apply concepts independently. As learners progress, they gain analytical confidence and a deeper understanding of natural phenomena. My goal is to empower learners with the skills and curiosity needed to approach physics with both competence and enthusiasm.
