About Maya
I have ten years of experience teaching Physics to students of various ages and abilities. My teaching emphasizes patience, clarity, and structured guidance, ensuring learners feel supported while mastering challenging concepts. I strive to make abstract topics approachable and engaging, fostering both understanding and confidence. I adapt lessons to each student’s preferred learning style, whether through visual demonstrations, hands-on experiments, or discussion-based exploration. By tailoring my approach, I help students build analytical skills, confidence, and a genuine interest in physics. Outside the classroom, I engage with research, experiments, and educational developments to bring real-world examples into lessons. Seeing students progress from tentative learners to confident problem-solvers is deeply rewarding and motivates my teaching practice.

Physics comes alive when students can see the connection between theory and real-world applications. In my lessons, I start with core topics such as mechanics, motion, forces, energy, and momentum, providing step-by-step explanations that emphasize understanding over memorization. Early lessons focus on building confidence and curiosity through guided problem-solving and relatable examples.
As students advance, we explore electricity, magnetism, waves, optics, and introductory modern physics. I integrate visual models, interactive exercises, and thought experiments to encourage analytical thinking and logical reasoning. Lessons are designed to help students approach multi-step problems methodically, reinforcing both comprehension and problem-solving skills.
In advanced lessons, students tackle complex scenarios, multi-concept problems, and experiment-based questions. They develop strategies for independent reasoning, data interpretation, and application of knowledge in diverse contexts. My goal is to create a supportive environment where learners not only gain mastery of physics concepts but also grow in confidence and curiosity, preparing them for both exams and real-world applications.
