About Victoria

My fascination with physics began as a child when I wondered why objects moved the way they did and how invisible forces shaped the world around me. This curiosity led me to pursue a B.Sc in Theoretical Physics followed by an M.Sc in Applied Physics, where I studied both classical and modern physics concepts. Over the past 11 years, I have helped students build confidence in physics by breaking down difficult concepts into manageable, relatable explanations that encourage independent thinking. I teach with patience, clarity, and flexibility, adapting my methods to suit each learner’s unique needs. I use examples from daily life, interactive problem-solving, and step-by-step derivations to make the subject approachable and engaging. Many students who initially struggled develop a genuine curiosity and analytical mindset, which helps them approach problems logically and creatively. Watching them grow from uncertainty to mastery is one of the most rewarding aspects of my work. Beyond teaching, I stay engaged with physics by following research, performing data analysis projects, and exploring innovative teaching strategies. This allows me to bring contemporary examples into lessons, ensuring students see the relevance of physics in both academic and real-world contexts. Helping learners feel competent and confident in science continues to inspire me daily.

Physics can feel intimidating when approached as abstract formulae and complicated diagrams. In my lessons, I focus on making the subject tangible and relatable by connecting each principle to real-world phenomena. Students explore motion, forces, energy, waves, electricity, magnetism, and fields through calm, structured guidance that emphasises understanding over memorisation. I use visual aids, examples from everyday life, and step-by-step explanations to help learners develop a strong conceptual framework that builds confidence and analytical skills. Lesson structure is tailored to each student’s level. Beginners are guided through simple laws of motion, intuitive diagrams, basic calculations, and observation-based exercises. Intermediate learners tackle multi-step problems, energy transformations, circuits, wave properties, and graph interpretation, emphasising reasoning and logical problem-solving. Advanced learners refine derivations, analytical modelling, experimental interpretation, and exam strategy, focusing on mastery rather than speed. Each session encourages questions, experimentation, and careful exploration so learners feel engaged and supported at all times. Physics lessons also foster critical thinking, patience, and a methodical approach to problem-solving. As students internalise the connections between concepts, they develop confidence in tackling challenges both in physics and across other disciplines. My goal is to help learners feel empowered by their ability to reason scientifically and approach complex situations with curiosity and clarity.
