About Amaya
As a physics tutor with over 11 years of experience and a BSc in Physics with Computational Science, I’ve learned how to turn complex ideas into clear, visual understanding. I use computational tools, simulations, and virtual labs to bring thermodynamics and statistical mechanics into focus. My lessons explore the flow of energy, the rise of entropy, and the collective behavior of systems at the molecular level. I believe students learn best when they can see what’s happening beneath the formulas. That’s why I focus on visualization, reasoning, and connection. Each concept links directly to phenomena we observe in daily life, from engines to ecosystems. I believe that anyone can master Physics with the right guidance and practice. My teaching combines concept explanation, problem-solving drills, and full exam simulations. I prepare students thoroughly for AP Physics, as well as related topics in Math and General Science. My lessons focus on identifying patterns, building intuition, and applying concepts logically. I use a lot of visualization and relatable examples to simplify abstract theories. Regular practice tests help track progress and develop speed and accuracy. I also teach time management and test strategies that make a real difference on exam day. As someone who enjoys mathematics and sci-fi, I bring creativity and logic together in my sessions. My approach is supportive but challenging—I push students to think deeply and apply knowledge confidently. By the end of our lessons, you’ll not only understand Physics—you’ll feel ready to excel in it.
